Ahhh — the smell of boiling sap, the crunch of boots on snow, a thin layer of ice forming in the tanks. There’s something special about sugar season that reminds us why we return to it year after year.
Welcome to NorthLoop Maple Farm. We’re a family-run sugaring operation built literally from the ground up, beginning with the clearing of our land for the sugarhouse that stands here today. Each season, we produce pure Vermont maple syrup in small batches, guided by tradition, patience, and respect for the process.
We invite you to explore our collection of wild-crafted maple syrups — thoughtfully bottled and ready to enjoy at the table or share as a gift.

Even though the VT sugar season is only a few months, we work year-round to make sure you have the best syrup for your table.
Our Sugarbush
Our pipeline runs across 55 acres of forest. We maintain over 5 miles of pipeline which ultimately ends at collection tanks which we pump out daily through the season. Each February we walk the sugarbush and tap each of the 1200 trees and in late April we remove the taps. On a perfect day we could collect 1500 gallons of sap to boil down to only 30 gallons of syrup!
The Sugarhouse
What started with a 2x3 Leader Half Pint in a storage garage has turned into a full-blown sugarhouse operation. We are currently running with a 3x10 H2O Innovations evaporator with hood and preheater, and a Leader Eco 550 Reverse Osmosis to help with our sugaring/family balance. We’d love to show it to you!
